WHAT DOES THE PETTING ZOO HAVE?
The petting zoo usually has young animals. There is usually has
a baby camel, a llama, a donkey, a mini-cow, a couple of baby
goats, a couple of lambs, chickens, rabbit, a pig, and during
the summer we have a giant tortoise. The camel, cow, goats and
lambs are usually on bottles which we bring free of charge. We
will also bring brushes so people can brush the animals. Sometimes
we are lucky and have a baby water buffalo or something else exciting.
Most of our animals are raised here on our farm…Most of
their parents have been in the petting zoo! Even though they have
outgrown the traveling part of the zoo, they are still a part
of the zoo and our breeding program. You will see a lot of our
older animals at local pumpkin patches. All of the animals are
clean and friendly. You can rent the petting zoo by itself or
with a pony ride. All animals subject to availability and weather.
CAN WE RIDE ANYTHING?
You can rent a pony by itself or rent it with the petting zoo.
Weight limit for the pony ride is about 85 pounds.
WHAT ABOUT REINDEER?
We will no longer do reindeer visits. I have really enjoyed visiting
with the reindeer in the past and want to thank all of our past
“Reindeer Customers” for allowing us to share these
wonderful, magical animals with them.
If you would like a reindeer visit, call Ed Nolan at 217-942-3260.
DO YOU HAVE NATIVITY SCENE ANIMALS?
We have animals that would have been in the manger. We can bring
a camel, cow, donkey, goats and sheep. We do not have costumes
or the stable.
CAN WE COME TO THE FARM?
No, we do not have tours of the farm. We stay busy traveling and
are not set up to service groups at the farm, but, we are USDA
inspected and licensed and have appropriate insurance and permits
to work in most parks, or, we can come to your home, school or
church.
DO YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE?
Let us know what you need and we will try to make it happen!
